Johna Stephens, MS Ed, has a Master’s counseling, a license to treat drug and alcohol issues as well as being a DOT Qualified SAP. She uses a client-centered, holistic approach and believes that the client already has the answers to challenges and problems. She believes that her job as the therapist is to support the client in discovering those answers. She has over 15 years of experience in the mental health field working with anxiety and depression. She has ten years working with co-occurring disorders (substance abuse and mental health disorders), conducting evaluations, and providing treatment. She also has two and a half years of experience working with Employee Assistance and is a DOT Qualified Substance Abuse Provider.
Johna provides an open and safe environment for people to work on a variety of issues like, anxiety and depression, substance use disorders, trauma, relationships, and gender and sexuality.
